Demonstration (in context or persona)
We have a fundamental problem (and it's only 10:15!). We want to know what ruralnet|online should do, what sort of features it should have, how can it help you. But how can envisage what it could do for you if you're not part of the Web 2.0 world and have never experienced it?
On the other hand we don't want to get carried away with wiki this and blog that and get driven by the shiny tools.
This is a chicken and egg situation how do you know what it could be if you don't know what is possible.
So what I intend to do in this session is 'demonstrate' the tools but almost by stealth, and definitely in a context - telling a story if you will taking you through a day of working in a connected, collaborative world. Hopefully by showing the benefits of using a blend of tools, I can show some real concrete examples of how things work and then later it will act as trigger points when we come to what aspects or ruralnet|online might include
